Troop 381's mission is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America, to serve others by helping to instill values in young people and in other ways to prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime in achieving their full potential.
The basis of this mission is centered on the Scout Oath and Law:
Scout Oath
On my honor, I will do my best
To do my duty, to God and my Country
To obey the Scout Law
To help other people at all times
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
Scout Law
A Scout is
Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean and Reverent
Our Troop's goal is to develop positive values in your son and to teach him to be a good citizen and to interact in a positive way with his peers. To help him develop leadership skills, self-reliance, recognize his duty to God, to develop a positive moral code in which to live by and to help him grow to be the very best man he can be.
