As a Cub Scout in Pack 197, 
you will have the opportunity to participate in many fun and rewarding activities. 
Weekly Den Meetings
You will meet with your den couple of times a month (Den leader's discretion)
You will work on rank advancements, earning belt loops, etc.
Monthly Pack Meetings
You and your family will meet with the entire Pack once per month
to celebrate rank advancements for fellow scouts, play games,
and get information on upcoming pack events.
Pack Events
Fun activities, done together with all members of the pack and their families:
Pinewood Derby, Blue and Gold Dinner, Ice Skating at Pettit Ice Arena,
Snow Tubing at Sunburst, Pack Bowling Event,
Cabin Camping at Indian Mound, Scouting the Zoo,
Building a Pack Float, and Marching in the 4th of July Parade
Community Service Projects
Coins & Cans for the CAP Fund, Leaf Raking for Senior Citizens,
Scouting For Food, Falcon Fun Fair, Community Cleanup,
Cemetery – Veteran Flag Placement
Scout Camp at IMR or Oh-Da-Ko-Ta
Have fun, meet new scouts, earn achievements towards rank advancements: Swimming, Mini Golf, Obstacle Course, Hiking, Teamwork Activities,
Archery, BB gun shooting, and Much, Much More
